Maple Crossing Is a Lie

I have lived here at Maple Crossing for a couple years; BEWARE OF OTHER REVIEWERS THAT CLAIM THIS PLACE IS ANYTHING BUT TERRIBLE, they are most likely management or paid by management. First off, let me start out by saying this apartment complex is at least 50% section 8/welfare, so right off the bat you are going to be living with people that generally don't care about others. The parking is terrible, I generally have to park half a mile away from my apartment every night unless I get home exceedingly early. The on-site laundry is dirty, not kept up with whatsoever, and OVER-PRICED. It costs me $15 dollars in quarters just to do 5 loads. On top of that, the security is almost non-existent and I've had my laundry tampered with a couple times. (One time, I had just put two loads in the dryer.. Some meph addict waited for me to leave and took my clothes out and put his in to steal my quarters. LOW. VERY LOW.) About half of the apartments in this complex have patios and windows thare are about 20ft. away from Highway 18, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, you might as well start looking somewhere else. Even with my window closed in my bedroom I can hear the traffic all night.

The so-called "Park-like setting" is bogus. The grass is muddy, it floods all the time, pretty much whenever it rains. Oh and there is dog ---- EVERYWHERE. They say that they have a "playground" and "Courtyard".. Another big lie, they have neither. The "Park" they claim to have is actually a city park that is located across the street from the complex, across the street on a VERY BUSY ROAD, that already one child has been KILLED ON trying to cross. Pretty scandalous if you ask me. The apartments themselves are very average, probably built in the late 80s.. old appliances, the water heater works OK, the windows all leak air so our heating bill is outrageous, every summer we get ant and flea infestations from our dirty neighbors who don't clean their apartments.. I have strange people knock on my door all the time that I do not know, usually I don't answer but sometimes I will and it will be somebody trying to make a drug deal looking for a different apartment. There is only one garbage in the entire complex (and this is a big complex), and it always smells so bad it makes me gag when i get within 10 feet. I never want to open the lid because of how foul and disgusting the handle on it looks; seems as if you could catch a disease just by touching it. In addition, little kids ages 5-12 FLY AROUND the parking lot on their bikes and skateboards completely unsupervised and without any regard for safety. They are loud, obnoxious and frequently fly in front of my vehicle! I'm surprised there hasn't been more accidents involving these kids, because personally I've had them jump in front of my vehicle and almost hit them 3 or 4 times.. I'm guessing I'm not the only one, either.

The only real positive to this place is that it's in maple valley, a relatively decent city as far as crime rate goes; also the maintenance staff is pretty decent, cool guys.

Overall, however, this place is a big fat lie. As with most apartment complexes, they will be your best friend while your thinking about moving in; they will show you an apartment that's really nice then when it comes time to move in, that one is conveniently "not available" in which case they bring you to your new apartment, which isn't half as nice as the one you looked at. The price is OK, but you get nothing for it. You can find apartments of equal price in much better condition with much better amenities. Most people that live here do so because they are on section 8 or welfare and get free rent, therefore you are living with people that are not responsible, and don't care about you or your personal space or property. Move to maple crossing if you don't mind that, but don't say I didn't warn ya.

Wow, "SeasonedRenter07" is obviously being paid by management. You're an f'in retard; I live here RIGHT NOW and NOTHING I said was a lie. Nobody in your building does anything more than nicotine??? LOL, I have two meph dealers living next door to me!! And in what messed up world is it okay for kids to be playing and riding bikes around busy streets? It doesn't matter how slow your going down a road when a 10 year old kid flys around a corner on his bike at 20mph right in front of you, but I don't think you really care about that seeings how you're on the payroll and don't live here. Go cash your check, idiot.

Grow a spine?? And "SeasonedRenter07" is not anonymous either, right? Your idle threats only go to prove that you are with the managment as I already claimed.

Of course it's not anonymous. Anyone can contact me through here, and because I believe what I've written, I have no qualms about that. And as I told some other dude (most likely you under another fabricated name) it's plain when you take the time to browse the site when managers of various apartments post about their own. I continue to stand under my easily-trackable username and review. I like it fine. And I still think you should seek therapy. As soon as possible
