There's nothing else this large for rent in Seattle or the Eastside; I've been in the area since 1996, and I've looked. Perfect for people who've sold a house or who are remodelling a house, and who want something like a house's worth of space to live in. Windows have good light on both sides, north and south, there's cross-ventilation of course, and the rooms are easy to decorate attractively.
I see a note about noise in another review. We haven't been troubled by that. The building is laid out cleverly, so the bedrooms face away from the parking lot. During the day or the evening, unless you've never lived in a city, the traffic is nothing that a TV or stereo doesn't cover easily. And I have never, ever heard the people next door or downstairs.
Another great thing is the other side of the traffic: by bus to Bellevue Square in 10 minutes, or to downtown Seattle in 15 minutes.
We're lucky we found the Avellino. Looking at apartments in other buildings was making us claustrophobic and depressed. This has been a great place to live.
