Deauville Apartments

Not good. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/29/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   I spent one years there thought it should have been six months. Too busy to move which they probably bank on. FACTS: 1. 4 managers in 2 years. This is not indicative of anything good. 2. The prior "YES" ratings from 3/25/04 to 4/13/04 were all probably "packed" by management in the 1-week time frame in which they were written. 3. The stories you can read here about this man (the owner of the Tom Roth Company) calling himself "Hitler" are true -- he's nuts. Hey "Hitler" -- Ich Bin Juden.... creep. 4. Sorely in need of upkeep. Plaster on the walls, no ventilation, yellowed paint and a filthy garage and trash areas.... just to begin 5. No amenities, aging small apartments with appliances to mach, a cleaning woman who must be like 99 and works a few hours a day, a single maintenance man who appears to be unable to keep up with it all (emphasis on all). 6. Unreasonably priced units that seem to up and down with the occupancy of the building and not the market. Its not unusual for a $200/year increase. 7. Any problems with your bills or maintenance... forget it. All youll get is a dirty look and a smart remark from the new manager who is nowhere to be found for weeks on end... other than rent day of course! 8. Say goodbye to your utility deposit. Theyll get it somehow -- someway. When you call about it, dont EVEN expect a return call. 9.I was rarely there and all I ever returned home to was problems problems problems. I could go on and on however, I wasted too much time there already. Bottom line, your business is not appreciated and you are obviously considered expendable. The physical plant stinks and there are no services or good attitude to make up for it. Do yourself a favor and... pass.
