Don't even think of renting this place. The aparetments seem nice when they show it to you at first. But once you start living you see what this place is all about - a bunch of lies.

The parking as pointed out is pathetic. Sadly, the city seems to thrive on these apartments and writing tickets to residents here. I am a decent driver if not good. I never had a citation in 7 years of driving and LO and Behold, in a space of 1 month mercer island police have issued 2 tickets.

One of them is because of parking in handicapped spot at 3 AM in the morning. The city seems to know that parking here is in short supply but dont seem to have anything to say to Shorewood. I have a 2 year old and the only spot available around the complex at 10.30 PM was a handicapped spot, which I had to take grudgingly and I have a ticket in the morning.

It was like the cops look at this apartment every night and get some unlucky person like me.

And the management talks about renting a parking. This is with me having just 1 car.

The apartment is generally poor. It was all painted white so we didnt notice. But within a month of moving in the bathroom showerhead is literall peeling away as there is a blob of plaster holding the shower head in place. One room has a hole, the size of a ball which has been loosely covered before we moved in.

This place is a joke. Find somewhere else to live. I find it disappointing that the State building code does not talk about providing basic facilities like parking to renters. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
