I lived in Shorewood for 15 months and during that time I did not have any problems with the management. Though I did not have to use them that often. The problem I had with Shorewood was when I had to move and "damages" were assessed. We scheduled an exit walk-through with the one of the management, when the person brought out a UV light and processed to wave it across the carpet. She found a "spot" on the carpet and proceeded to tell me that the carpet was damaged and had to be replaced. Who the hell uses a UV light to determine damages when a UV light is not used when you move into the apartment. Because of this I had no idea if the UV spot was caused by me or the previous tentant. Next thing I know the person is randomly accusing me of owning a cat when I don't. Do not rent here!!
