- BAD MANAGEMENT (it took 2 weeks, 5 calls for maintenance to fix an appliance; staff is rude)

- SMELLS like rotting paint (I thought it would eventually go away, but it seems to be a permanent odor. Some genius used outdoor paint for the indoor walls)

- DOORS DON'T LOCK (the ones to the bedroom, bathroom) because some genius painted over them

- ANTS. So I thought perhaps I had left something sugary out, but after deep cleansing everything in my apartment, it turns out it wasn't ME. I still don't know where they are coming from but I am still finding them EVERYWHERE.

- BAD PLUMBING (the kitchen sink continually floods. Not just in the kitchen, but all over the apartment)

- PAPER THIN WALLS & FLOORS. For God's sake I can hear the people upstairs having sex EVERY Sunday at 6AM. Granted, it only lasts for 2 minutes but quiet hours are SUPPOSED to be 10PM-8AM. I can hear every foot step, every BURP, every giggle, every song.. those people upstairs make. I can hear my neighbor as well. He likes to blame the noise on me for some reason. Perhaps it's due to the fact that he is OVER 80, possibly 90.

- LOUD KIDS run amok up and down the hall ways and stairs screaming and skateboarding. You can hear everything. In fact, I've seen a toddler running around with other little kids. Where are the parents and why does management allow this'

- WASHER & DRYER suck. Running the washer sounds like the whole apartment is falling apart. It's that loud.

- BAD FLOORS. They're wooden and OLD and DEFINITELY need to be renovated. In fact, the whole place needs to be renovated, along with the staff. The complexes are so old it needs major renovations.

- STAFF. It seems they get paid to take smoke breaks all day and that is it.

- DOORS / WINDOWS have no proper insulation. Hence the reason you can hear half of everything going on outside / feel the cold air. Hence the reason gas bills are so high.

For over $1,000, you can definitely find a better place. DON'T MOVE HERE. There's a reason why this place is also known as 'ShoreHOOD Heights'.

Some of the staff has their stuff together. As I recall, you do get to take breaks too.
