I just recently moved to Shorewood Heights on Mercer Island from downtown Seattle. Let me tell you how peaceful it is here compared to where I used to live. No more worrying about the bums and crazies out all night. The property is old but very well kept. The walls are thin, but you don't need to worry about loud people loitering outside your window.
I love the location, I'm still really close to downtown where I work, but don't feel so unsafe anymore.
The office staff has been really friendly and has been able to answer all my questions, and the maintenance has taken care my one work order so far. Right now I have no complaints at all.

Hi,
I'm thinking of moving to shorewood heights but have read a few bad reviews that complain about it being loud (paper thin walls), the garbage is really far from apartments, their is dog poop everywhere, and the list seems to go on about the management not being nice. I'm a little bit nervous but really want to live in a Garden Style apartment and not in a high rise in downtown bellevue. Do you still like the place or am I making a mistake?
Thank you!
