Long Term Resident/Bad experience

I lived at Shorewood for nine years, through a total remodel which required relocation. I saw multiple management companies come and go, but the last group (Riverstone Residential Group) was totally unconcerned with tenant retention. It was sad to see the property decline in customer service and value over the course of time. While it's a great location with such potential, I could not in good conscience recommend it to anyone seeking a friendly, resident-focused complex. They are interested in your rent, and how quickly they can raise it for the least amount of service. (And it will most likely convert to condos!)

Really? I've experienced nothing but friendliness from the office staff. Everytime I go in they are warm and friendly. My rent went up quite a bit as well ($100), so I do see what you are saying about that. But I have to say, I looked around and everything I found on the Island was either way more expensive or the same price for less quality. Also from my understanding they are not converting to condos but looking to build new ones on the vacant land, you can see the proposed use of land sign at the front of the property. Maybe us tenants will have first dibs on them when they are complete.

I totally agree with the original review. The staff were lovely when they were getting me into an apartment then rude & off hand. Shame as the location was amazing & I liked the apartment.
