I have been in Shorewood about two months and so far so good. I am in one of the new buildings and those are very nice, there are some other buildings that don't look as good. Choose your unit carefully because there is a very wide range of building ages and areas in the complex.

The grounds are very nice and there have been no significant problems with noise. I had one repair request and that was handled with 24 hours as promised. The exercise room isn't fancy, but functional and reasonably pleasant.

The staff has been pleasant to deal with. Haven't worked through any issues with them, just paying my rent and they have always been polite.

The schools in the area are excellent (which was a big reason for me choosing MI) and it is a very safe area. The rent is higher than you will find in other areas. So far it is worth it to me.
