I really liked this place when I lived here. The office staff was great, and maintenance was quick...
It is definatley a "family" place to live. There are A LOT of little kids, and they are a little out-of control.
Standing on the deck, the next building is about 20 feet away- You are staring into your neighbors windows as they are staring into yours. I can't even say how many times I saw my over-weight neighbor naked! It made me sick!!
I lived here for a year and 1/2 and I was charged $900.00 when I moved out- I patched all the holes on the walls, but was charged to have my patching removed and have their's applied.... a little odd. They replaced the carpet and charged me for that. They don't consider that carpet endures normal wear and tear. They said there was bleach stains all over the carpet... funny, I don't ever even use bleach!
SO.. yes I liked living here, but I am not impressed with the charges.

I smelled a rotten attitude when I talked to them 2 out of 3 times I visited I won't go there.

What made you feel it was a bad attitude? If your going to make comments, can you at least be more specific? I love living here and all the staff is terrific. They throw great parties and monthly events for all of us here. If people would just pay more attention, they would see that Thw Hawthorne offers more than meets the eye. At least for me...I attend the parties. The Christmas party was a blast and I won a free month in January...yeah..they sound just horrible!
