I guess I can start by agreeing with everyone who has voted NO to living here. We recently moved out, but still have a lease with them till next month. When we gave our notice 2 days later I walk out to my car and see that they had posted a sticker on my car stating that they were going to tow me because I was in the wrong spot. Ummmm... I have parked there for 10 months and NOW they want to tow my car. Ya because we gave our notice. Nice try!! Yes, the new management is HORRIBLE AND SOOOOO RUDE! We have done a pre walk through and they are accusing us of smoking. We aren't that stupid the lease says no smoking so we didn't and we wouldn't have anyway cause that is disgusting in my opinion. They said due to the smoking that they needed to charge us to repaint the entire apartment. Well, that was 2 weeks ago and then today I talked to the most pleasent man in the office (I am sure u know who that is) who stated that it wasn't smoke it was candles and apparently u can't have candles in ur apartment either. HE persued to argue with me and YELL at me as I told him that I was going to contact my attorney and possibly take legal action on them. Haha he said oh ya go ahead I wil call mine and I have more money then you. HAha what grown man talks like that. Only at the Hawthorne! It goes far and beyond what I have written, but for those of you who thinks everything is all jolly good there wait until you move out and see how they will nickle and dime you just to get a weezly buck. Hawthorne you guys are the one with the problem, take a look around ur complex and see how many vacant homes u have. I hope u go BANKRUPT AND TWO CAN PLAY THIS GAME. SEE U IN COURT!!!

So sorry for all your troubles! I wish you the best in pursuing justice within our legal system. I and others have tried to warn people. Ask yourselves...why would an entire office staff quit on their own company? Those you see now (from the last half of 2007)are an entirely new staff who have bought into the lies of its parent company.
