I also thought this was an alright place to live until we actually moved in. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the dumpster and all the glorious garbage people decided NOT to throw in it. The vandalism of both cars and apartments is awful. Parking sucks and is not doled out fairly at all.

The worst problem is the management. When we went to move out of the place we were buying a home. Our mortage company contacted the manager asking her to do a rent confirmation form so that they could see if we were current on our payments to them. They explained that it was very important that it get done ASAP so that we could close our loan on time. A week later I got a call from them saying that they never got the forms from the Mill and that they had faxed it over 3 times and had confirmation of receipt. When I called the office one of the boys working in there couldn't find the form at all and said that he could fill it out if I got it to him. Funny, the manager told the mortgage company that only SHE could fill out that form. It also took the boy about 45 seconds to do the whole process. Funny how she couldn't find the time...

My mortage closed a week late all because of the manager not doing her f*ing job. I was going to write a complaint letter to the owners of the property, but based on other comments on this site, I doubt they'd give a rats ass anyway.

The nice thing is that we had two cats and got away with them not only destroying the carpet, but not even paying the pet deposit. Hee hee! AND when they gave us our Last month's rent and deposit back they didn't take out any money except for the water/sewer bill. We got more back than we actually paid to them in the first place! YES!

Gotta love ripping off the jerks who steal your money. :)
