In the last year and a half that my boyfriend and I have lived here, we have mostly been satisfied with the unit itself for the money. Here are something things, however, that I find infuriating from the Management:
When we first moved in, our sink drained a little slow. Eventually, it plugged completely. We waited five days for maintenance to finally come fix it. It had a nail in the disposal from when they worked on the apartment previous to us moving in.
When we moved in, it was summertime. We did not check the heater. Come winter, we froze after we found out the heater was busted. It took a week before anyone came out.
Our washing machine broke down. Four weeks later, they finally got us a new unit.
Whenever we've needed them, they take forever to get anything done. Whenever they need something, we have to drop everything. I have pets, so when we get only 24 hours notice that they will need to do work inside our apartment, it's near impossible to get everything settled. They enter your apartment without notice, stating it was "for emergencies", even though the last time they needed in for the same reason they gave notice. They do not enforce parking, do not clear the parking lot when it snows so you are unable to leave, and do not enforce that their contracted workers shouldn't be banging around to prepare apartments at 3 in the morning.
Moral: Don't move here unless you're a hermit handyman.

I've needed repairs three different times, I live in one of the units in the back, and i've had help the same day i've requested it.
What do you usually do to request help? I usually go in person.
I will admit the times during the remodeling were pretty crazy, especially if you had a pet.

Wish we were the person who made the comment about getting maintenance same day. Somebody in the office must ??????like?????? you. We have been here 2 years and never did get our carpet cleaned because of one reason to cancel or the other, till we finally just said *&^% because we??????re moving. Our experiencing is, they take forever to fix anything??????our washer, dryer, garbage disposal, dish washer...doesn??????t matter, and if they tell you a specific date, don??????t waste your time and be home because they definitely won??????t be there on that day. It feels at times that they camp out and wait till your car is gone (who genius idea was to put the apartment #s on the carports, at least someone realized how dumb that was) then ??????enter?????? your unit and not say they were there or not, so if something stops working again or didn??????t improve you don??????t really know if they did actually turn up to fix it??????????????????.and yes management is infuriating, I guess smiling makes it all better.
