Proud and happy resident!

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2002
Although I've sinced moved to San Francisco (better job market), I lived at Parkwood at Mill Creek for over 2 years and really enjoyed it. I moved out in May 2002, and hated to leave.
The good: The apartment had nice appliances, nice big windows in the living room, and adequate storage off the patio. I lived in a 1bd on the first floor that faced a greenbelt. As a result, my apartment was very quiet. The parking was wonderful (my guests NEVER had a problem finding a spot in front of my bldg), and the fitness center was small, but adequate (especially after they updated the eqpt). I never used the outdoor pool, but the indoor pool was nice.
The bad (not much to say): I guess this all depends on your neighbors; during my stay I had 3 different tenants live above me. The first family was so quiet, I didn't even know anyone lived there. The second residents were a young couple whom I dubbed Mr and Mrs Bigfoot I could have sworn they weighed about 300 lbs each when they walked around their apartment. In reality, they were very thin people, just heavy walkers, I suppose. The final resident was a single woman who was also very quiet, though I could hear her boyfriend peeing if it was real quiet in my apartment and I was in my bedroom or bathroom...
The ugly: Trash dumpsters would get full fairly quickly. A few times, I would have to walk to a another dumpster because the one closest to me was overflowing. I had my tire valve covers stolen off my car once. And every once in awhile, someone would pour dishsoap into the fountains in front of the complex causing it to overflow with suds. ...that's one way to keep it clean, I guess.
Overall, I felt Parkwood to be a safe, quiet, and friendly place.
