I've lived at Parkwwod for almost a year and I'm writing this to help you apartment lookers out there. There is NEVER a parking sopt near your apartment and occasionally not a spot in the entire complex. I've had to walk a half mine from down the street in order to find a place to park. There is not security whatsoever. For parking or apartments. I've had my car broken into once and apartment as well and we live on the second floor. I would recommend checking with the local police station or insurance agencies for crime stats, the complex will never tell you anything. That was enough for me to leave but there's more. The hallway light was cheap and was recalled by the manufacturer. One day I turned it on and it started smoking and one of the lights busted. I pulled that thing out of the ceiling right away to make sure there was not a fire above. Luckily there wasn't. It took about 3 weeks to get someone in there to put a new one in and I had to tell them about the recall and not to put another one like that in there. Also, the sink leaks and I just noticed mold forming on the back of the doors covering the kitchen sink. To add the dryer's gauge to measure dryness and shut itself off went out and still has not been fixed after 3 times there. One of the biggest problems here, OUTSOURCED MAINTENANCE! Nothing gets done even if they come to fix it. We're out of here. They're raising the rent by $60 a month anyway!

They just raised my rent almost $150 for a friggin one bedroom. I'm beyond angry and now have to find somewhere else to live. Parking is a joke, I agree. They painted the outsides of the complex but the insides are way out of date. Never have I lived somewhere for years and had my rent raised to new tenant prices. GREEDY.
