We have enjoyed our stay at Parkwood and were pleased to renew our lease recently, at no increase, even though we had other options. The location is perfect, with bus service and the ability to walk to all kinds of services, including groceries, restaurants, LA Fitness, book store, library, even medical offices. When we moved in, having seen only a model, not our specific unit, we found our apartment was spacious and clean, with new carpet and paint. It would be nice to have updated cabinetry and counters in the kitchen and bathroom, but they are certainly adequate. In particular, we feel lucky to have a unit that overlooks a greenbelt - beautiful! In fact, we love the landscapring in general. We've never had a problem with noise.
On a few occasions, we had trouble parking near our unit, but that seems to change as people with more or fewer cars move in or out. We have never had a problem since we chose to get a covered space. No one has ever parked in our space.
On the few occasions we have nee3ded to contact Maintenance, they have responded quickly. If I could make a suggestion, it would be to increase the number of recycling bins or empty them more often. On occasion there had not been someone in the office when we went there, but we recognize that sometimes the office staff need to be out showing apartments. They have always been friendly and helpful.
