Seems like high rent, but great value for what you get

These buildings were built in 2001, so everything is pretty new. A 24-Hour access gym to tenants only, 2 kid pools, a hot tub, a mini movie theater to use, a game room that includes a pool table, foosball, etc. You get a free car wash station too.

I am renting a top floor (3rd floor) apartment, one bedroom/one bathroom for $945/month ($45 is for an assigned parking spot that's covered). It's mostly carpeted, but the kitchen and bathroom have laminate. It's awesome - you can paint it any color, the windows are double-paned. It's so quiet! I moved from a house where I never had quiet. I can't hear anything from outside if the windows are closed.

Some of the apartments have air conditioning - I chose not to have it. The bedroom has a ceiling fan, I bought a small fan for the living room/dining area to keep the air flowing and I'm fine. It's gas heat, so the dryer is super fast. Each place has its own water heater, so you're not sharing hot water with your neighbors.

The apartment has a full kitchen including refrigerator, oven, stove, garbage disposal, dishwasher, cooking island with extra storage, pantry, large coat closet, fireplace, FULL washer and dryer, desk area, full garden tub and shower.

I love to cook - the kitchen is small, but the mini-island and the pantry/cupboard storage more than makes up for lack of space.

Another great thing, about 15-20% of your rent goes into a credit account for the purpose of buying a home in the future. If you go with their company to purchase a home, that credit account can go towards that.

If you move here, DEFINITELY at least get the covered parking (extra $45). There is also personal garage parking available, but I don't think it's worth the over-$100 cost, but after about 5:00pm, the free parking (anything uncovered) gets filled up fast.

There's a walking trail in the back of the apartment complex. I tested it out and my boyfriend and I found it's maybe 10 minutes to the Town Center Central Market. It's fantastic!

There's a valet garbage service. Every M, T, Th, F, Sat you leave your garbage out by 7:00am (or the previous night), they pick it up so you don't have to go all the way to the dumpster if you're far away (which I am).
