To sum it all up....

I read through the comments posted. Some are true, some are not. Here's my personal experience with the complex:

Pros:
The scenery is alright, but nothing spectacular. Despite what 'Bridge-Man' was saying about the noise and the red-neck factor, there is nothing of the sort. True, now and again a teen with his car stereo will wake up a neighbor in the middle of the night, but management takes care of that quickly. Second, the area is middle-low income white dominant, or white trashy for short, but I have yet to hear them shooting stuffed animals off of old Buicks with shotguns, nor have I EVER seen ANYBODY turn the complex into a bumper car rally. Bridge-Man, better check those glasses and that hearing aide... YeeHaw...
Also, crime here is non-existant. This is the first apartment complex that I have stayed in for at LEAST a year and have NOT had my car broken into in any shape or form. Milton is, statistically, one of the safest places in Western Washington, and here it shows.
The office staff here were pretty curtious, but nothing special.

Cons:
Sometimes I wish that parents could tie their kids to a tree by a leash like you can with a dog. Kids ride their bicycles and skateboards in the middle of the street and when you honk at them they look at you like you were growing horns out of your head. Atleast they're quiet, though.

My biggest problem with the complex is the location. Next to a gravel pit' Granted, you don't hear them because they work only during daylight hours, but when you leave for work/school in the morning, don't expect to get there too soon. The trucks drive 10mph in the posted 35s, making you tear your hair out for 2 miles. In addition, if you value your car, do NOT get stuck behind one of these things during the summer. They kick up dirt and rock alike.

There's also the Wild Waves amusement park 2 miles to the east. Depending on if you want to go there every warm summer day, it's alright; but more often than not you're caught in gridlock traffic during park hours.

My last problem is with the LEASE. Whomever said that these people will ruin your credit history if you move out was 90% right. A roommate of mine was going to be a day or two late in paying his share of the rent. I went down to the office and PERSONALLY asked if giving them the check would be alright, PLUS I offered to pay the extra charge (Roommate ended up paying it, naturally) and my assurance that it would NEVER happen again. They told me, to my face, that it was perfectly alright and that it would not damage either credits, especially my own because I handed them my share then and there. When I found a new apartment (the trucks drove me crazy) I was accepted, UNTIL I told Copper Creek I would be moving. They were more than happy to sign me up for another year's lease, but when I said I was going some where else, things got cold. By 'cold' I mean that they single-handedly wiped out ALL of my good credit because of 'refusal to pay rent', even AFTER I had gotten the OK previously.

Other than MY PERSONAL experience (stories may vary from person to person), there is nothing else worth noting, just knick-knack stuff like decent grounds keeping, maintenence, etc.

Personally, I wasn't too unhappy here and I would have considered moving back one day, but they drew the line when they indignantly destroyed my credit history to get me to stay.

If you want to move here, just READ THE LEASE and get EVERYTHING IN WRITING.
