DO NOT LIVE HERE...

I lived in the Copper Creek apts. for about a year. The facilities seemed nice, one of the nicer apartments in the area. Unfortunately...what seemed nice turned into a nightmare upon move out. The grounds of the apartment are not really kept up as they should be. Grass is dead, it needs new bark, and there is absoulutely nowhere for the kids to play. The extremely small playground is located directly next to the dumpsters for garbage. Not sanitary and not safe. There are not enough parking spots. You might have to park a pretty considerable distance away from your apartment and walk. My car was also broken into while I lived in the complex...Even though this is a gated community it is not safe because they never changed the code while I was a tenant. Move out was a nightmare. They will ding you for everything in the apartment and have even threatened sending to collections over a few measly dollars. It's really ridiculous. It's a crying shame that people are allowed to operate like this...anyway to make a dollar. I asked about everything in the apartment I thought they could ding me for and they said not to worry about it, they justed wanted to see that effort was put into cleaning. This was a downright lie. I would not recommend living in the Copper Creek apartments. For the same amount of money live in the Sundance apartments just up the road. They are much nicer and have had fewer complaints from what I've read/heard.

You know, it's a shame that when people move out of a place and don't want to accept resposibility for the damage and their filth, they have to find blame somewhere. If you've read and heard such terrible things, why did you move in anyway? It's too bad that you can't come right out and say that you thought you could get out of there without any effort. As far as parking and having to walk, get over it. You lived there for a year and had one complaint? That doesn't sound all that bad. I'm sorry for you that you can't just move on, you have to criticize and bash peolpe, that doesn't seem like a very cool thing to do....

I want to respond to brett727. I am the Manager at Sundance and I would never write something about another community, nor would ny staff, and I am sure if you ask you own Manager she would agree with me that we here at Sundance would not post anything on another site. We have and always will assist Copper Creek as they assist us and I would never say anything bad about any community whatsoever. Just remember that people typically write things out of anger and everything should always be taken with a grain of salt. I suggest to anyone reading any of the postings here to ask the management of the property you are reading about. As staff we are well aware of what people post and usually we have an idea of why people post things and can usually defend ourselves completely.

Well, I???m not the manager here, but the staff has done great things for my family! Why is it that your complex only has five reviews and their mostly all raving reviews (obviously nobody gets mad at the Sundance utopia) and surprise lake and copper creek have 46 reviews between them and there your competition. How is it that within two days you knew and responded to my comments? Do you usually monitor this site and your competitions comments every day? Most reviews for Milton properties are negative, but not yours. Copper Creek has 25 reviews (some good, some bad), you have five? How is that? You have both been around about the same length of time and think you???re bigger too. UNLESS, somebody at good old Sundance Utopia tells people to go and write negative things about Copper Creek and the Others in Milton. You???re not fooling anybody the fact you so responded quickly to my comments proved my point, Thank you

We have only been open 3 years to Copper Creeks 6 years and Surpirse Lake is over 20 years and we are half the size of Copper Creek. And yes I watch this site as does the majority of managers. I usually check it every 3 to 6 months and by chance I seen your review and this time was to see if you responded. In actualality I agree with you that Copper Creek is a nice community. It is the same builder as Sundance so they are identical aside from where they are located. I have sent people to Copper Creek and will continue to send people there when I cannot help them. I am sorry you think we rig things as we would never do that and I agree the office staff is friendly as we talk quite frequently.
