Very nice place to live

Sundance on 27th Avenue in Milton has been a great place to live. My wife and I moved here recently and didn't know much about the apartments in the area. A colleague drove us around to several different places in Federal Way and Milton and Sundance blew them all away hands down.

Wilena is the manager and she is very professional. She is by the book but fun at the same time. And she knows about management. If you ever have any questions, she is the one to go to. She helped us get settled by giving us directions to various places and helping us out with other things.

The apartment I live in is 2 beds and a bath with ample space. The fireplace is located in an odd place (the area between the living room and dining room instead of just in the LR) but that seems to be common throughout NW Washington. The bathroom is large for an apartment. And I love having a W/D in the unit.

As far as utilities, you pay electric, W/S/T, and the optionals (cable, phone, etc.)

As far as noise, I can hear my neighbor sneezing on occasion, but to be fair, he is very loud. Normal conversations and TV volume cannot be heard through the walls, which is nice.

The cabana / rental office area is very nice. There is a workout room with free weights, nautilus, and aerobic machines (2 bikes, 2 treadmills, and an elliptical). They even have a tanning bed - which I guess is pretty common here in cloud-ville. The pool is comfortably heated and there is also a hot tub.

Another advantage to living at Sundance is that you are a comfortable 10 minute walk (great way to save gas) from Safeway, Albertson's, Ace Hardware, Hollywood Video, Dollar Store, several restaurants, and a Wal-Greens. You would think living next to all of that, the traffic noise would be huge, but Sundance is in a quiet neighborhood. It's close enough to be convenient but just far enough away to be quiet.

In all, I would definitely recommend this place. It's a bit higher in price than some places, but you do get a safe, gated complex, with good ammenities, nice management, and a comfortable apartment.
