Moving Out Was A Nightmere...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
My husband and I moved in when I was three months pregnant with our first child, thinking we had finally found a good apartment community where we could stay for a few years- hah!
Our next door neighbors smoke, and the police visited them several times throughout the course of our stay- once because they were putting on a new doorknob at 4 in the morning! Our refridgerator broke and it took 48 hours to even have it looked at, and only once I called the managment office multiple times. Our car was broken into, and as other reviews have stated, the server with all the personal information of all the residents was stolen from the management office. The lighting in the parking lots are poor, if you are lucky enough to find a spot. Once our baby was born we paid the $20 a month for a carport so I wouldn't have to walk forever.
I moved out to stay with family because my husband was deployed to Iraq, and I requested to be present for the final walk-through. I followed all the instructions I was given and called and made an appointment, then drove almost 2 hours from my new residence for the walk-through only to be told they had already "turned" the apartment, and were charging me almost $600 in damages (which were not justified at all). I wrote a letter of complaint to the regional manager, who was very helpful and got all the charges dropped. I never got any deposit back, but at that point I was just happy to break even!
