Prepare to be sucked in and then completely Ripped off

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I had 10 days to start my new job. The apartment was good sized with a beautiful lake in my front yard. Attractive indoor out door pools ,saunas, tanning bed, tennis courts, great workout equipment. Yep I was sucked right in as soon as that flea bittin squirrl tapped on the deck door.I paid first, last ,a damage deposit and $200 of it was non refundable.First The pool area was always being vandelized so it was locked up for weeks at a time. They changed the pool locks . When I traded my key in for a new key they told me the key I turned in wasent the pool key . Even though it opened the pool area door...(Like I was keeping a worthless key hostage)' They tried to charge me $ 100 for a new key and I wouldnt pay it so We were locked out of the pool for months. Finally they graciously gave me the new key for $50. I found out later my neighbor had lost her key and they only charged her $25.A pipe broke out in front of our kids apartment and we had no water for 3 days. One poor guy who looked like a teenager searched all alone for the break and dug a pit the size of the grand canyon out side the kids bedroom window looking for the break. The office was broken into about every 15 minutes it seemed like with tenent information stolen.Their advertising claims to repair rental problems within 48 hours is a joke. I was gone over the holidays and when i returned a large metel post had been hit and bent sideways into my 20$ a month parking space. I paid 20 A month for 8 more months for a space I could barely get my car into. Repeated attempts to get them to fix it were worthless. After about 6 months I bashed the ---- out of the rear fender backing into the post.( the odds were against me}.It did $800.00 worth of body damage. They still didnt fix it so I had to park where ever I could find in the free spaces the rest of the time I was a resident. When I moved Thet took me to small claims court saying that the last month rent wasent a last months rent but an additional deposit so I owed them late fees. I took photos of the apartment damage when I moved in and photos when I moved out and brought them to court along with my receipts and rental agreement. The apartment was left spotless when I moved. Their Lawyer didnt even show up. The judge looked at my evidence and photos and found in my favor. They keep billing me for rent I paid non exsistant damages and repairs they never made. They finally turned it over to a collection agency ruining my credit. Why they bothered to take me to court I'll never know because they sure didnt seem to care about the findings or the courts judgements. Not A penny was refunded to me of my deposit. Do yourself a favor and take a trip by the trash compacter on a Sunday night before you sign anything. They have one small compacter for a 26 acre complex. Yuck.
