I've lived in the apartments here for just under a year. I'm ready to head out soon though. In reading some of the other visitors regarding this site, most of them regarding the office staff are right on. I've had several interactions with the staff, and although one was very pleasant, she doesn't seem to work here anymore. I guess the cranky women in the office scared her off. The pool in the summer was a complete disaster. Look for a nearby lake to enjoy the water. The kids are unruly, and the office staff didn't seem to mind. I had to get help when one boy kept trying to dunk the other little kids. It was awful. The playground area is very loud in all surrounding units, and heaven forbid you have to walk by....you'll see garbage on the ground, popsicle sticks, toys everywhere. No joke. I was embarressed having a relative come visit me when walking through that area. There are a lot of amenities, but there's a price to pay. Can you tolerate kids running around everywhere' Can you tolerate unpleasant, oftentimes rude office staff' The parking is very limited. Good luck having a guest come over. Oh, and yes, I'd say the prison being down the street provides a lovely home for those families who plan on doing the weekend visitor thing for their loved one. I wouldn't recommend this one. Keep looking!
