I have lived in the apartments for just over a year now. I've noticed that some tenants are allowed to bend the rules while others are not. The office staff overall has been pleasant. It seems that the best management and leasing agents have been replaced by less understanding ones now. The rent prices are high, too high for the area. The parking is horrible. Don't plan on having visitors. As for the prison, it's no secret Monroe has one. If you don't want to live near the prison then don't move to Monroe. I'd have to say that living here is not bad, I've lived in worse but I've also lived in much better.
