Nice to look at but not so nice to live in.

The condition of the actual apartments in the complex is average to poor. While the grounds seem pleasant enough at first glance, actually living there proves to be a challenge for many reasons.
High turnover means a lot of moving noise every month. There are A LOT OF CHILDREN living here, so expect to be hearing a good deal of screaming, yelling and crying as well as running up and down halls etc. The walls are thin, the floors are very resonant, so any bass/subwoofers from nearby stereos will be VERY noticeable.
The smell of charcoal grills and cooking odors will fill your unit if you leave the windows open in the summer. Poor insulation adds up to stuffy and HOT in the summer and COLD and DAMP in the winter.
Hallways are smelly and in desperate need of new carpet, paint and overall renovation.
The water pipes are beyond acceptable and are composed more of rust after 30 years than the original cheap galvanized pipe. It is normal for the bathtub facet to gush a stream of rusty water for the first few seconds after turning on the tap. Water taken directly from any facet will look dirty due to the amount of rust particles in the water. A water filter of some kind is a must if you don't want to buy bottled drinking water during your adventure at Andorra.
The staff is nice enough, but seem better at providing lip service regarding your complaints than actually making a serious effort to address a maintenance issue beyond the most mundane.
When you have had enough and decide to move, you will have one more surprise waiting for you unless you read the fine print of the lease.
It is the custom of this complex to charge the renter for all the fees related to moving out of the complex. These fees include carpet cleaning, painting and other restorative services that most apartment owners traditionally take responsibility for.
Simply cleaning your unit will not exempt you from being billed for these additional charges. In other words... If you paid a cleaning deposit, don't expect to see a dime of it, even if you clean the place better than the on-site custodians usually do.

This is exact, word for word of my experience! When I first moved in, it didn't look like the housekeeping had even touched it. There was still dishes in my dishwasher, the cutting board still had dried jelly on it, the kitchen and bathroom seemed to have not been touched, and the floors looked like they had been cleaned with only a meer swifter. The water pipe topic was hit dead on! We actually did the same thing and purchased a water filter b/c the rust during the first few seconds. If you actually take a look at this place after reading all this, bring an empty water bottle and put some water in it when on the tour and see for yourself. The cool thing about the windows is that they are double pane.. but that doesn't matter when they aren't installed correctly or your front door is put on wrong and has a huge crack on the bottom where cold air and bugs come in. We actually purchased a stand alone heater and crank it to high b/c the heater in the apartment doesn't quite cut it even at "90". Now that I think about it, the dial button is probably the wrong one for that square in the wall. The walls/ceilings indeed are paper thin. My ghetto neighbors upstairs have their bed in their livingroom for some reason and except for weekends, they have sex every single night like clockwork around 10pm. In addition to noisy neighbors, I also currently have neighbors that will throw their garbage under/on the stairs and even spit in the hallways. There are also the neighbors who constantly have people over or coming in and out of the apartments (obviously not safe if you have children!), sometimes blocking other cars into their parking spots over night. The hallway rugs indeed need to be cleaned, and when you speak to the staff, if you make a comment on the rugs in the cabana, they will mention they haven't replaced the rug their b/c of the cost, ect.. b/c they get dirty too often, ect. If that is how they take care of the rug in the office, the first place future tenants see, imagine what they really think or how they take care of the building hallway rugs which have much more traffic? Speaking of the staff. I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW INSULTED I AM! It upsets me too much to even say anything. Do not trust them. As for when you move out.. unfortunately, I have only been here three months and am already scared as hell as to what awaits the next nine months. I can almost guarentee I will be back here making additional comments about this two faced apartment complex, possibly even filing complaints with the bar or attorney general.
