The Andorra is far from living at a hotel unless you compare it to Hwy 99 motel 6, that would be an upgrade. The smell of the overstuffed garbage dumpsters through out the parking lot, the drug activity in the parking lot, the breakins in your cars while you sleep, the management non responsive to any complaint, they just ride around in the golf carts and serve cookies. There is no locks in the buildings so bums wander around in the hallwalls, if you have a real problem good luck, bad electrical, fickering lights, what a comfort. There is only one thing good, the park across the street and the beautiful Lake. Good luck at the Andorra.

I would like to start by stating management does everything possible when there is a complaint no matter what the nature. In response to this particular matter the first our staff had heard about the worn light covers was from a neighbor and we called the resident to ask about setting up a repair date they refused us permission to enter due to the intrusion it causes while they work from home. They also very politely told us it would be fine for another few weeks till they completely moved out. There would be no valid reason why Andorra staff would not find it in our best interest to maintain all units to the highest standard. Our staff values our residents, each other and continues to build on the integrity of our community. Apartment staff are unable to go into someone???s home for a non-emergency without their permission and in a case such as this one described we did not have permission from the resident. Also, as stated in Andorra resident???s leases they must submit maintenance requests in writing and I sincerely hope this resident sees that we would never intentionally neglect their requests and would be happy to show that we consistently complete all written requests timely and at all cost. Many people come on to this website upset and begin to offend goodhearted, hard-working staff because they are able to. As the Community Director at Andorra I am proud of our establishment and overjoyed with our staff. I understand the frustration that comes from ignorance and would be happy to prove that Andorra is a wonderful, comforting, and inviting place to call home. Our staff is passionate about their community and hope that posts such as this help us to see our weaknesses and to improve upon them continuously. Very well put! I previously lived at Andorra and my stay was comfortable and pleasant. We were able to purchase a home but otherwise we would have stayed at Andorra. I just wanted to throw my two cents on a positive note becuase usually only upset residents write on this web site and I do believe it is unfair for so many that have had a nice experience. So with that being said, it is nice to see that the management cares enough to respond on behalf of Andorra.

This is another typical way that the management at Andorra communicates. If they don't avoid the issue entirely they shift the blame to their "lack of power" over the issue and then simply inundate you with excuses. As the above post attests, they are also good at repeating themselves when all else fails.
