I find Lakeside for the most part a very peaceful, pleasant place to live. Sure the water comes out brown for the first few seconds (so I bought a Brita), the garbage occasionally overflows, yes the laundry rooms are usually pretty filthy and parking can be challenging because not many want to pay for covered parking. But any time I have brought things to the mgmts attention (like some tenants housing more than the acceptable number of residents in their apartment) they genuinely seem interested and ready to take action. This complex is usually pretty quiet, the neighbors I have met are very friendly, it's conveniently located near both I5 and 99. It has been a nice home for me for 3 years.
