Lets see where to start.... we put down our deposit and paid first and last months rents only to be told 3 days before our move in date that they weren't going to be giving us the apartment we agreed upon and that they didn't have any vacancies. We ended up getting an apartment the day before our move in date. They are sneaky.... they make you sign everything before giving you a chance to see the apartment you are given even if you ask they give you a list of excuses why you can't see it till you sign. We got done, went to see the new apartment and turns out it hasn't been cleaned! The closets smell like cat litter, the carpets are filthy and we don't have a bathroom door. They promise us it will be cleaned and we'd have a door by the end of the weekend. --------! We still haven't receieved the door they "ordered" for us. The took a door from another apartment that not only didn't fit the door frame but was a week late and wasn't the same color of anything in the apartment. Everything is white and we have a this oversized brown bathroom door that gets stuck. Our lights constantly flicker due to electrical problems we are told can't be fixed. Our shower has been trickling water for a week and nothings been done about it. Our building was recently vandalized, someone broke all the inside lights, broke the rail on the stair well (happened about 1-2 months ago), there still isn't a hand rail by the way, and they also tried to set one of the other rails on fire. Nice. There are no alarms in the building except for in your unit so if it goes up you probably won't know till its to late. Good luck. We've decided as soon as we find something better screw the deposit they can keep it, we are super willing to break our lease to be out of here and sadly we've only been here for 4 months!
P.S. Management constantly lies and the "maintance" woman is the worst! She'll tell you one thing then do something else! At first I thought they were nice but wow the lies just keep coming!!! HEY MANAGEMENT IF YOU EVER READ THIS WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THAT DOOR YOU "ORDERED" FOR US!!!! Also make sure you read everything everyone has posted they aren't lying to you!!! Especailly about the garbage and parking. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!

sounds like a typical "bait and switch" I heard they were notorious for that. I had friends that lived there and i've been there a lot and I know that it is just really gross looking around. Sorry you had to go through that...hope you get out soon. there are other great places around..trust me..i looked!

Agree with above. I've been looking and there are lots of buildings out there with vacancies. Get in the car and drive around don't just depend on the big book and the rental websites. There are lots of places on the other side of 99 in Edmonds. The upgrades they are constantly making are a huge nuisance. Had to clear everything off of my deck last year during the summer when the rebuild the decks and now the are redoing the pipes and we have to clear everything out of the front closet, the bathroom and part of the kitchen. Can't wait until my lease is up. I'm out of here.
