I called the complex to ask about rates and was given the run around by someone named Christina that sounded totally disinterested in a possible new tenant. Despite her attitude, I still scheduled an appointment to view an apartment. When I showed up, the office was closed, even though the appointment was "scheduled". I left quite a few voicemails asking for a return call and never received one.
I was warned prior to contacting the complex that they're rude and do not follow through with much of anything, but I assumed this would go into effect once I became a tenant, not before.

The staff changes so much over there that you can't keep track of the names. There probably was a Christina there when you called, but she probably left shortly thereafter so they get around that by saying that no one works there by that name. technically they're not lying but they're not being truthful either. I wouldn't trust them if I were you. I hear that they're notorious for conning you out of your deposit when you leave too so keep an eye on that. Just read these reviews, the bad ones are all true.

Doesn't surprise me in the least that they weren't in the office. They were hardly ever there when the office was open. The fellow response is right too. They changed the staff around more then the stock market goes up and down. Seemed like every time we talked to some one up in the office it was some one new and they didn't know what the heck was going on half the time. More annoying to deal with then anything. We got the the point were we just didn't want to deal with it anymore so we just avoided the office like they avoided the tenants. I dunno what there problem is at Lakeside but they really need to fix it.
