They fooled us from day one, showed us there nice remodeled apartment, but of course we got there crappy old one that hadn't had anything done to it at all. The appliances looked like they were the same ones from when the apartments were first built. The cabinets were a nasty brown color and the counter tops were a piss yellow color. The bathroom is TINY. The ONLY thing that is nice about the apartments are the size of them. They are decent size apartments. You may think that having a laundry room is nice but they are always filthy. Seemed like every time I washed clothes, no matter how much detergent I used, the clothes came out with this nasty funk smell that made me sick to my stomach. The walls I swear are paper thin, you can hear everything the upstairs and next door neighbors are doing, and I do mean EVERYTHING. I think one of the worst things about living there besides the police being there on a regular basis, was the mold problem. Every corner from the living room into the bedrooms, no matter what we did, had mold. It's now in the lease you sign as well, a mold amendment. When we moved from our one bedroom to a 2 bedroom, (we have a 2 year old son who has lots of toys and we felt a second room would be good for him)they said they replaced the carpets. Yeah, that never happened either. The carpets had HUGE stains on them, it looked like they didn't even clean them. We found sun flower seeds and wrappers like the maintenance people just didn't give a crap about the people moving in. They told us they painted it with Killz paint(suppose to keep the mold from coming through) but it was the same story as the other apartment. Mold in every corner from the living room to the back bedroom. If the problem is that bad then they need to not put a mold amendment in the lease, they need to replace the drywall and insulation. How about instead of spending all this money on a new office, and compactors that are worse and fill up quicker than the dumpsters did, you put some money into the apartments and getting some newer appliances'''' I understand you are trying to fix things, but how about you focus on where your tenants are going to be living, instead of making this big facade''' When ya drive in you see all these nice looking balcony's and now the new office. Why don't you walk around the back side of the apartments. Yeah, that's the real Lakeside right there. Soggy grass with litter and duck/goose crap all over the place. Weeds that seem to cover the grass in the spring, then in the summer the grass dies and turns yellow. Of course they take care of the areas that people can see, but all ya gotta do is walk to the back side of the apartments and it is the total opposite. Among other things that happened while we lived there, 2 cars were set on fire, one of them being ours. The staff at Lakeside were very unhelpful and rude about it as well. We were waiting on the fire marshals report to find out if it was truly arson or if it was an electrical fire. Before we even had a chance to do anything, the staff had the Jeep towed. There reason for not notifying us, was that they couldn't find a license plate and that it need to be gone because it was a danger to children playing in the area. Okay, first of all, how did the police find us if it had no license plate''''' Second of all, who the hell lets there kids play in the parking lot' There is a playground and a bunch of area behind the apartments that kids can go play in. Being a parent I would NEVER let my kid go out and play in the parking lot. Just goes to show you the competency you will be dealing with when it comes to Lakeside. I would also like to add that the parking, while it does seem like there is a lot of it, fills up very fast. When my husband worked the evening shift he would have to park at the entrance to the apartments because he could never find a place near our building. Then walk through an unlit parking lot, which when I had to do it I felt VERY unsafe. They didn't put new lighting in until AFTER my Jeep was set ablaze. If I can say there was one good person on the staff it would have to be Bob the painter. He was the only person that was courteous and pleasant when talking to him. He even remembered our sons name. The office staff were horrible and a headache to deal with. All in all it was a place to live, and if you don't care about idiots in the office, mold in your house, getting woke up by your neighbors, and walking a mile to get to the trash compactor that will more than likely be full, then it is a good place to live.

Wow, you should really do a little more research before blind typing. In WA is mandatory to have some kind of insurance on your vehicle in order to drive it. Call any lawyer and they will tell you with out insurance it is not operable. Im glad you openly admit to being irresponsible and willing to put others lives at risk and taking a gamble with their lives and yours. Just goes to show the kind of people that live at Lakeside! Thank God our house is almost done! We will no longer have to put up the scums of society such as yourself!
And if you still have your lease you should read it. It specifically states any vehicle that is inoperable is not allowed to be parked on the premises at any time. They will be towed at the owners expense. (In other words they didn't have to tell you *snicker*)
Im glad they finally towed your crappy car. Like I said it should have been towed ages ago. It was a hazzard to everyone around it. Like I said; wouldn't be surprised if you or someone you all know did it on purpose as an insurance scam. Explosions...Hmmm? fire was bursting out of the back of the Jeep ... Hmm??? So scandelous!

Once again I will say that 1 out of 6 people in WA drive without insurance. Driving while not having insurance is one of the biggest traffic violations along with driving on a suspended. We tried to save some money to get the Jeep fixed after the accident. The Jeep being set on fire was an arson, NOT my fault. The explosions that occurred were from engine products that are kept in MANY cars, hmmmmm, not so suspicious when you think about it. If it was an "insurance" claim as you seem so set on, WE WOULD NEED INSURANCE ON THE JEEP, which I have said more than once we did not have. So what insurance claim could we have filed?????? What fraud could we have committed????? Yeah, I'm gonna have someone I know torch my vehicle so I can gain NOTHING from it. Sounds like a good plan to me. SO Mr. Anonymous, I reviewed the apartments so I could let others know what is REALLY going on at Lakeside. Not to be ridiculed by some jackass like yourself. For all I know you're one of the staff at Lakeside trying to make you look better. ANY way you look at it NO ONE deserves what happened to our Jeep OR the Jetta that was set on fire. Oh and, if you wanna get all technical on me, if they were so concerned about people having insurance on there cars, you would have to provide it for them BEFORE you could park your car there instead of just giving them the make, model, and license plate number. Why you ask that they don't do that, well then half of there tenants wouldn't be living there. So yeah, it does say a lot about the people that live there. People that are on the poor side tend to live there. Oh, and if they were SOOOOO concerned about getting rid of inoperable vehicles, maybe they would tow all the cars with flats and expired tabs???? How many cars like that are there????? So please just drop it, there are MANY things wrong there, you know it and so do I.

i heard that the office staff at Lakeview Apartments are open supporters of several Human/Animal "Love" factions. and i'm not talking about the kind of love that you might feel for fido by giving him a chew toy or something, i'm talking about Soddamy people! that's right, the humble staff that you all know and love are supporters of beastiality and buttsex!! not so hard to believe when you consider all of the pigeon and goose ---- that surrounds the place! GROSS! all i'm saying is that when you go to sleep at night, and thing it's a wolf howling at the moon, just imagine man's best friend in a not-so-platoinc relationship with his owner. sleep well and enjoy your stay at Lakeview!! :)

HEY!!!! I've lived here 2 years with my boyfriend (who is a 2nd time renter) and want to say, yes, perhaps a little overpriced, but, the staff is wonderful- from office to groundkeeping. Polite efficient! Especially Lydia and Becky, and yes, Bob Orton the painter, always a pleasure to chat with. They also have a new person, Crispin , and Constantin, people that maintain this property. Yes, the goose/duck thing is a problem, but, that is because of the wildlife preserve of a pond. This last comment is sick, and twisted. I hope this person has been evicted! I would like to say- this has been a fine place to live, especially because of the kind people that maintain it. The Jetta was mine btw. Someone lit the porter potty next to it on fire while they were working on the roofs.
