I wouldn't live there again...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
I lived there for a little over 4 months but ended up moving out becuase I simply did not feel safe there anymore. In January someone tried to break into my apartment in the middle of the night, while I was there and asleep. Then in March my car was broken into. I also saw a fight and came home after a night on the town to find all the enterances blocked off with cop cars and police dogs searching the premises...needless to say I decided it was time to leave. The office staff said becuase the apartment is on the corner of 44th and 212th they sometimes have trouble with people cutting thru.
In addition, make sure to take pictures of your apartment when you move in so you have proof damages were not your fault when you move out...I filled out their "move-in" form and noted several things that were wrong with the apartment - when I moved out, they charged me for these defects even though they were noted on the sheet. The indicate several paint splatters and rust spots were my fault.
Oveall the staff was pretty nice, but the apartment was the scariest place I have ever stayed. I would suggest finding a different place...there are a ton in the area and they are all about the same price.
