When you come to look at Northern Lights Apartments, be sure to walk the entire complex. Notice that the only place that is kept in decent condition is the area immediately around the office building. This is so you will think the owner cares about it's appearance. Dead trees and shrubs are littered throughout the grounds. The driveways and parking lots are full of pot holes and cracks. The two swimming pools haven't been open since fall, 2007. Despite the office employees swearing that my apartment was cleaned before I moved in, it was not. The kitchen was disgusting, and I cleaned it myself because of the run-around I received when I complained about it. As for getting things fixed, they'll get to it whenever. Don't waste your time. Spend a little extra, and get a place far from here.

Could you please elaborate? I see you scored low on grounds and safety - what was your experience? I've been told when I checked availability that there's no availability at all, and not any expected for some time. Apparently not many people move out?

I was told the same thing when my family and I went in to look for a two bedroom apartment. There was nothing to rent for anytime soon (or for a few months). It cant be that bad if people aren't moving out right? I've been on the waitlist there for sometime now.

you put parkijng as bad, what part i always have a spot no matter what time i come home get real, maintenaance is great, noise omg there is none, grounds look fantastic, safety there are girls and women out in the parking lot at night no problems its well lite its so well lite that the eclipes was barely visable. office staff are fantatic and treat you like family, you must be a person that does not pay thier bills and then blames it on other people.

TUSK....you are an idiot, and clearly a member of the Northern Lights staff. Which I find disturbing considering you cannot spell worth a crap, and your grammar....in short, sucks. Take a walk through the complex at night. It's dark in some areas. Particularly the SW corner. The grounds look fantastic? Do you enjoy dead trees and shrubs everywhere you look? I've been here for years, only because of it's convenient location. I've never missed paying rent. You're obviously an idiot, and I hope that others can see that as well, and not listen to your obviously biased opinions on this dump.
