Northern Lights will present you with a "rental agreement" that is unlike anything you will have ever seen before, and use it to evict you early for no reason and keep every cent of your deposit. Oh, they claim when you move in that it's used to get rid of gangsters and people who play loud music and other such undesirables, but in reality, it's used TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT.
I wondered at the rapid turnover of my neighbors, until it was my turn, then I realized what was going on. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU. The office staff puts on such a friendly act, but turns it off in an instant.
It is common knowledge that all the glowing reviews posted on this board are put there by Northern Lights staff themselves, so go ahead, girls, threaten me with libel - you know you can't take me to court, because truth is an unimpeachable defense! So silence your spew. I stand by every word, and I won't rest until I warn the entire world to never rent from you con artists.

wow you are a complete idiot, and obvioulys nothing but lies or you would have used your name instead of being anonymous. i am sure that you did something to be kicked out, i have lived here almost 2 years and never had a problem with the staff or owners. you need to take this as a lesson learned and pay your bills and stop blaming other people for your faults. people like you make me sick blame everyone but the person at fault (which is you) if you took care of your bills and followed the rules you would still have somewhere to live idiot. stop sucking on your mommies tit and get your life together. here is a hint, stop smoking crack and pay your bills, its obvious you are on drugs of some kind because only someone on drugs would act as retarded as you have on here. northern lights and staff have done nothing but try to make life easy on folks, the rent is low for this area and you are offered a lot more than other places. funny the people that pay their bills have no problem here, humm its a business not your mommy's house time for you to grow up and pay your bills.

I am not sure who TUSK is but in order to make a good point you could try to be a little more respectable and use less vulgarity. I was taken back by the rental agreement too, but it is a fanstastic idea, its meant for certain situations where a tenant is not behaving appropriately and can be asked to vacate their apartment. But that is for the good of the complex as a whole, people need to have good neighbors, sometimes people are asked to leave and the staff can't say the exact reason due to liability, but that's what the rental agreement is for. If they asked him to leave the complex it is probably for the better considering they never like to ever lose good tenants or go through the hasstle of having an open/vaccant apartment. This complex is NOT a scam, it has been 3 years for me living here and I wouldn't have rented elsewhere, I am getting a home this year and will be sad to go. Anyone looking to rent should definately consider this place and take the overly negative reviews as just one angry person taking their rage out for something that was their own fault.

I won't even bother responding to Tusk's inane, adolescent vitriol, but the second person did bother to make a measured response, so I will answer him/her. Indeed, the management claims that's what it's for, but it is not - my family has made NO problems here for our entire tenure - no noise, no parties, no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs, no damage, no difficulties for our neighbors, all bills paid - however, we AND ALL OUR NEIGHBORS in ours and the adjacent building (as we noticed over the preceding months) have systematically, one by one been served with eviction notices. Also, it is quite clear that the positive reviews are all coming from the same person, since the identical tone, style and spelling errors are present in each, not to mention this person has such incredible knowledge of the mindset of the management - ANDREA. It's illegal for a representative of the apartment complex to post on this site, but I'm not surprised you ignore this, since legality (or morality) has yet to concern you. Another warning to would-be tenants - Northern Lights bad-mouths the other apartments in the neighborhood. Don't take their word for this - look for yourselves, and make your own judgements, because, once again, THEY ARE LYING! Don't think the other apartment managers don't know what you girls say about them. I didn't tell them - they already knew. So I invite all readers - no I INSIST - that you investigate this claim if you don't believe it. You will see for yourselves Northern Lights has no credibility. Penultimately, I do not have "rage", dear. If I had rage, I would no doubt behave rashly, not do something helpful to my fellow citizens like warn them to avoid a clear scam. And lastly, it is most DEFINITELY a SCAM. My attorney, who knows far more about the law than you do, said it was, and Northern Lights caved in to our very reasonable demands immediately rather than go to trial. Scam, scam, scam. Beware!
