Overall the apartments here aren't that bad. They are pretty spacious. We have never had issues with safety, or finding parking spot. The rent is pretty reasonable. However that major disadvantages have to do with maintenance around the complex. Since living here the swimming pools have been "under construction" although in over a year of living here the status on the pools has not changed at all. It was very disappointing going an entire, very hot, summer without the either of the pools open. When we moved in we were told that the pools would be up and running by spring time and we believed them, however it's now September and no pools. One of the other problems is the landscaping. I do agree that near the main office it looks very nice, however the trees around my apartment are brown and dying. There are lots of weeds and bare patches of dirt, with the exception on where one of my neighbours spent his own time and money to make the dirt patch around his porch look nice. When we moved in we were told that some chemicals had been sprayed on the trees and caused them to die and that they received a settlement and would be fixing up all the landscaping. Once again, September and no remarkable changes at all. The dying brown bushes and trees have been trimmed back, however they are still dead or dying. The other issue is the parking lot. While it is big and there are plenty of spots available the lot is filled with cracks and potholes. Most of the curbs are broken and falling apart, instead of replacing whats broken they just moved the broken pieces into place and gave them fresh yellow paint. Unfortunately that doesn't hide the fact that the cement is broken and falling apart. When calling for regular maintenance they come and fix issues quickly within the apartment. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH
