For your own sake just walk away. There are better appartments out there for the same price or less. I lived in anchor village for four years and nine months. So here are my complaints. 1) They rufuse to act on maintinance requests. It would litterally take years of calling and filling out forms. 2) They will charge you for everything when you move out, even the stuff with three year old maintinance requests. 3) I lived there for almost five years and they tried to charge me thousands of dollars for carpet, that was used when I moved in. They told me it was new when I moved in so I asked for a copy of the bill and they gave me a bill for another unit. By law the have to pro rate the carpet based on it being past 95% of its usable life, they refused and sent me to collections. By the way the carpet was the cheepest I have ever seen.I worked as a maintinence man at anonther complex and we had better carpet installed in similar units for around $950.00. They also tried charging me for a new stove because their Maintinence department could not fix it in three years. I looked up the model and it had not been sold in ove fifteen years so it was very old. The mounting bracket for the broiler was rusted out and the could no longer get parts. I went for twoo years without the use of it and then they charged me! 4) The staff is rude. 5) The swimming pool is closed for maintinance almost the whole summer. They just cant seem to figure out haw to keep it clean or be able to afford to hire proffesionals. I could go on and on but just trust me and run
