MOLDY WINTERS IN YOUR APARTMENT

It amazes me that the rent is very high here and the windows are single pane. We just got letters that they will be replacing the roof and downspouts, but it looks like we will spend another winter with MOLDY window sills again. If you cover your window to keep out the cold out of your room, you will have dark moldy windows and indow sills, and moldy blinds. They are so kind to give you directions of how to clean this mold, but it is very gross. We were asked if we would pay extra rent for new windows, but it has never become. We have search run down places that are cheaper and they have insulated windows. It just amazed me that this place can't put in insulated windows. Back to the cold winters. The heaters are placed directly under exterior windows, so it is very costly to heat these places, since your heater will run constantly fighting the cold winters.....Rent has gone up $200.00 plus in 3 years and still climbing.
