My husband and I lived here for 4 years, and had a pretty good experience. The buildings are well crafted (only needed minor repairs from time to time) We always felt pretty safe. Sure there was that one murder/suicide incident, but overall, they rented to pretty stable, good people. (I'm not kidding about this - some woman was killed for trying to leave her crazy husband. He took her life, and then his own. Look it up - It happened in building #1)

The only really frustrating part was the revolving door in the management staffing. We almost never saw the same people from month to month, so you always had to start from scratch.

The maintenance staff was terrific. The head guy Don, was very competent, humble and friendly. We wanted to take him with us when we left. No joke!

The prices went up and up and up each year with our annual lease renewal, which was frustrating, and ultimately resulted in our need to move. Every place has its strengths and weaknesses, but we found Archstone Harbour Pointe to be a pretty great place to live.

We had a similar experience. Definately better than most. If you're thinking of living here, go for it. No apartment complex is perfect, but this one is pretty good. Believe me, you could do worse. A lot worse!
