some pros, many cons

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
My husband and I moved into this apartments two years ago. We are a young couple, fun loving, and not very hard to please. I have to say that our first year here wasn't too bad, but things have really started spiralling downward. We are not crazy about having it quiet all the time, but the unsupervised children at the pool are absolutely driving us out of our minds. At any given time, during the summer, you can walk by the pool and find around fifteen kids (under 17) at the pool...all alone. They are extremely loud, unsafe, and you have to wonder what kind of people you are living around that would leave their children, most around eleven years old, alone at the pool. Complains are lodged at the office, but NOTHING is ever done. Overall, our apartment is in pretty nice shape. It is true though, there are way too many unorganized "inspections."
Parking is terrible. I usually have to park far from my apartment, where there is no light. Last year, my car was broken into and my golf clubs were stolen from the trunk. My neighbors are pretty nice, although last year we lived next to a drug dealer who was less than quiet about his business. Luckily, he was eventually evicted, and we no longer had to deal with scary people hanging around our building.
I am happy to say that we are now moving into our first house! We will miss Mukilteo, but we will not miss having to deal with the office staff here. They are a bunch of young, and I hate to use this word, trashy girls who generally have no idea what is going on.
If you move here, you will have a semi-nice apartment, and you will call this place "alright," but you will never be very happy.
Good Luck!
