Very, very disappointing.

We moved our family into Bay Court in 2004. They offered us a less attractive unit that they had been unable to rent for quite some time in exchange for less monthly rent and we agreed. Since that time we have been exceptional tenants; never a complaint against us and never a day late on our rent. We have had 2 cars stolen from the parking lot and 3 double-chained bikes stolen from our back porch. When we asked the Manager about increasing security, we were met with complete disconcern. Last week we were sent a renewal letter stating that they were raising our rent by 25%!!. We of course thought this had to be a mistake and again talked with with management. Again, we were met with the same coldness and disconcern and told that all similar units, regardless of location or floor level would be this new rate. When I requested that they allow us to transfer to a newly vacated, nicer unit at the new rate for the remainder of our lease (< 2 months) and additionally signing for another year, we were denied. We will be moving, and are very disappointed.

Wow. I was strongly considering moving into this complex due to a job that is transfering me to the Mukilteo area. One of the other reviewers is correct in that apartments are difficult to find in the area. However - it's not impossible.
After reading through all of these reviews, I'm definitely going to seek out other options.
