Firstly, read the post by QRenter, this person has obviously lived here because they depict the situation exactly as it is.

I moved in during mid-may, its now january and I've had my car broken into twice, both times the car was trashed and everything stolen. Both times my car was parked in the 5 spaces directly infront of the office. When I notified the office about this, both times their reply was "sorry about that." Thats it, thats all I get.

The staff here is completly incompetent. Outside my apartment there is a swampy mess of a drainage runoff that never drains. This is a mosquito breeding ground. I was told when I moved in that I would be supplied with screens for my sliding glass door and bedroom window. After complaining twice they told me that my name had been added to a screen "waiting list." In September I finally got sick of waiting and just found an empty apartment and stole the screens off that one. Why are there screens on empty apartments when there is supposedly a waiting list'

The walls are SO thin that I can hear my neighbors urinating from my bedroom, thats after the sound has traveled down my hallway, thru the laundry room, and my closet. If you have anything private to say don't say it here, because your neighbors can hear every word you say and vice versa. The thin walls are well reflected in your electric bill. Speaking of bills, the sprinklers will be turned on ALL night, EVERY night till the end of fall. The ground is so mushy you'd think you were standing in a swamp...and guess who pays for this water ' $$$$

There are 3 corners of my apartment that STICK of cat urine! I never got to see my apartment before I rented because I moved from out of state and needed the apartment already rented so I'd have a place to go. Anywhoo, after I got here the smell in some spots is so bad I have to leave the sliding glass door open even though is cold outside just so my eyes wont water while I'm eating dinner. When I complained about this they told me that the carpet was brand new and wouldn't let me exchange apartments even though the smell is horrible.

Almost all of the fountains and trees are illuminated at night, but the parking lots are pitch black. It's only a matter of time before some gets raped here, or worse. Don't be fooled, they have ABSOLUTLY NO SECURITY. The Mukilteo police do their part by driving thru a few times a day and responding quickly to emergency calls. Before I moved in the staff assured me that break-ins were rare that this was a safe area. Ask ANY Mukilteo police officer and they will tell you that OTG is THE "Hot Spot" in Mukilteo for abandoned stolen cars and theft.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE LOW COST OF RENT!
Talk to some people who live here before you sign a lease!!!!!
