Too expensive for so little.

My boyfriend and I rented a small 1 bedroom, 1 bath for 11 months.
We payed $995 a month because our apartment was not remodeled.

Small things that were an annoying problem:
-The paint on the wall is PRIMER so that you can paint over it, but after you leave you have to paint it back to the exact same color. The people before us decided to leave us with half our wall white, and the other an off white.
Also, I wear a studded belt on occasions and even slightly rubbing against the wall leaves a giant mark.

-There is absolutely NO ventilation through out the apartments, leaving them HOT during the summer!

- I lived on the ground floor, and even on the rainiest days the sprinklers came on every single night leaving the grass a GIANT puddle. Our neighbor slipped many times as did my boyfriend and I.

- OUR washer and dryer unit BROKE! soaking our floors.
They are also too small and take a really long time to dry clothes.

-Parking is a disaster if you work late.

-Our closet doors came off the hinges within a week. they fall off every now and then and are impossible to put back on.

-Its pretty cheap for the price we pay. And the prices are RISING!

-The pool is not too clean, I've never really swam in it though.

-The exercise room is too small with older equipment. I've gone there and found sweat on the weights. Not too appealing for a work out room, I'd rather just jog the streets.

GOOD things about the apartments:
-Really nice staff. Including grounds keepers, and maintenance.

-I honestly have never heard any trucks leaving or coming through our area before, it has never really bothered me and I am a light sleeper.

- Dogs and cats are allowed for $400 deposit per 2 animals which is good because cats seem to like the carpets and destroy them!

-There are two large grocery stores within walking distance, a gas station, and a bunch of other stores and small shopping places within walking distance also.

-You can easily get to Bellevue Community College without 405 N. traffic in the morning.

I would recommend this apartment for people who are looking for a first time apartment, or a short time stay.
