I have lived at Newport Crossing for almost 4 months now. I have been happy with my apartment and the customer service that the office staff provides. I looked at several apartments in the renton area (only a few miles away). Compared to the apartments I looked at, this complex seemed safer to me and well kept compared to the complexes built around the same time frame. I have not had any problems with noise, but I guess that depends on who your neighbors are and that is the luck of the draw. At my previous complex, I had to deal with neighbors who partied all night/every night usually starting at 11 and going until 4-5AM and unfortuneately for me, my bedroom shared the same wall as their kitchen/dining room. There is no security patrol here, so if you have problems at night, you are directed to call the Newcastle police. Maintenance has been quick to respond to all my requests. I have not had a mold problem. Each apartment comes with 1 covered parking spot. I liked this because in most cases you pay extra for covered parking. There are not alot of extra uncovered parking spots though...so if you have more than 1 car and come home late, that could be a problem. I like the layout of my apt. It's not a large apt., but it's nice looking..Has a fireplace and a ceiling fan. Overall, I think this is a nice complex and I would recommend living here.
