DON'T move here!

I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The majority of the things that were wrong with the apartment when I moved in have still not been fixed. It takes them forever to get around to fixing the few things they have. The appliances are ancient and barely work. The mold is never removed, only painted over. So of course it comes back. The cupboards and drawers look like they've never been cleaned. And the drawers don't work properly. At least I got new carpet when I moved in.
You do get one covered parking space with the rent. That's good. Most places you have to pay extra for it. But don't plan to ever have friends over as there's next to no extra parking.
The noise level is just awful. You can hear everything. Especially if anyone is above you. If you move here, pick the top floor - and be quiet. A few of the apartments have a nice view, but the majority are bad.
The grounds are ok. But nothing special. I could do better with my eyes closed.
If you want to live somewhere safe, I wouldn't pick here. It's not "bad", but there's no saftey patrols.
The office staff act nice. But it's an act for the most part. Unless they decide they like you. They're not the worst I've seen, but they don't follow up on things unless you nag them. And I do mean nag. A lot.
Overall, it's ok for short term. But if you want to live in an apartment for a long time, keep looking.

They'd rather pay millions in lawsuits than actually adhere to their own "ideals". Browse Archstone lawsuits. It's amazing they have millions and millions of dollars to pay out in lawsuits but can't come up with a dime when it comes to keeping their promiced "seal of excellence". Waterbills are third party billed and I'm pretty sure that "third party and Archstone are in bed together.
