What a nightmare! They will nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING and it won't go towards anything. We got a dog and paid the deposit plus extra every month and it didn't even go toward the maintence when we moved out. For the most part it was all wear and tear but we still got charged when we moved out! Its the most ridiculous thing I've heard of. We even got charged $2 per nail hole for hanging pictures, that is insane, I would've fixed it myself if I had known that from the start. I'd definitely suggest keep looking if you are considering here! Not a place to be proud of living in!

And you can't dispute the move-out charges, either. If you don't pay right away, you won't hear a word about it until suddenly your bank account is empty and overdrawn. It happens like this: Epic will go to court and claim that you haven't responded to notices and that they don't know how to reach you. They'll present their "evidence" of your debt to them and "evidence" of how much money you make, then the court will let them take that much money from your account. All without you ever getting a single piece of mail beyond the first ridiculously inflated billing. With us, they apparently presented "evidence" for damage that didn't happen and for an income 5 times more than we actually have, since the overdraft was equal to multiple months of income. By the time we knew what had happened, it was too late to protest or have our say in court. These guys are bloodsuckers
