This apartment complex has steadily declined in the last two years! I will say that Normandy Park in itself may be a reason that you would consider living here (If you can stand the many apartment snobs in the area). BUT, prepare to pay rent monthly and feel as if you and your children are in a military boot camp! There is a cement enclosed area (old tennis court) that doubles as a "play area". Your kids dare not step foot on, of all things the yellow,dry patched area being passed off as grass, this too is an infraction! If you have friends that smoke, rest assured that one of the few remaining "lifers" will inform the manager; who will then promptly give you a ring, even if your friends walked out to the parking lot at 2am in the morning! this too will cause you to be verbally cited. Oh yeah! let's not forget the "laundry facility", that NEVER works!!! If you have lots of money you can also pay more than $190-300 energy bills YEARLY! for a 780sq.foot two bedroom without a washing machine and dryer! After complaining repeatedly, your basically useless maintenace man informs you that the reason that your small two bedroom is sweltering in the summer and below zero in the winter, is due to the fact that during the "renovations and upgrades of the last few years" the restoration team exposed the pretty wood beams, but failed to insolate the roof! Good Luck if you choose this money pit!
