Overpriced, with HIDDEN charges!

First of all, these apartments are way overpriced. They charge an exorbitant fee for water/trash/sewer. For one person living in one of these apartments, the charges are at least $50 a month for water/trash/sewer. Imagine that' A single-family home pays that perhaps once every 2.5 to 3 months in this area.
Also, the energy bills are exceedingly high. My energy bills doubled after moving here, without changing my energy habits. This is probably because the windows leak and don?t keep out the cold air. Every winter I?ve had to tape up the edges of the windows, all around, including at the sills, so that there are no more gaps and no more leaks. Before doing that, you could actually see the blinds move when the wind blew outside, with the windows closed! (This means that all winter the windows have to remain closed, even on the occasional nice day ? takes too long to tape up.)
In addition to all that, the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors talking, walking, everything. Imagine what they are hearing YOU do?
I?ve recently moved out (finally) and I?m very happy about that. Of course, now they?re trying to find ways to keep my $800 deposit (general and pet) even though maintenance told me they wouldn?t charge for anything when they did the move-out inspection. These people are very greedy.
