The reality of multi-family housing

I think there is some truth to both the good and bad comments I've read here. But, let's be realistic. If you are a busy family with children, it's really hard to maintain the quiet your single or childless neighbors may desire (especially with the thin walls). I will agree that there is too much late night activity at the pool (the hot tub is supposedly famous with local teens for a place where people have sex). Maybe RC Management can get some kind of security patrol going.
Also, I can't agree with the people who say parking is good. It is NOT. That is, unless you have absolutely no social life and never want to have a friend over. My car fits in the garage, and my husband's is behind me in the driveway. There is only ONE free space for visitors in the particular area I'm in. All the residents fight for that space.
I have been on the other side of the noise complaints. I had a neighbor bang on the wall because my newborn baby was crying. What the Heck do people expect' It's an apartment.

I live in this community and the noise is typically for aparment. I live up the hill and have no problem with the noise, the kids that I have dealt have been nothing but courtesy. Magement is not best mangement that has ever dealt with at a apartment complex. I lived many differnet complexes and the concern for basic renter needs is just fair you have to stay a top to get anything done and that is annoying. I signed up for two year lease in June and glad I did. The key is to get to know you neighbors I have made friends with both side and on good trems with neighbor across the way, so can not coplaim there and belive me the other complexes I have lived in my neighbor never in wanted to say Hi. The parking is awful even when the apartment complex is not full capicity you are fighting for any free space.
