A sham!!!!! Places are not worthy even for "the projects". It all looks good when you enter the lobby at the rental office, the salespeople sugar-coat the place, but of course that is their job. NO PARKING, NO INSULATION IN WALLS OR FLOORS, WARPED WINDOW BUCKS, NO WEATHERIZATION,(250.00 dollar heat bills)RCR in cahoots with water co. and electric co. Takes 5 minutes for water to heat up and reach upper floor. You will never do a load of laundry in warm water because water will not heat up in time! Torn up carpets and CREAKY FLOORS! Swimming pool closed all summer due to repairs. Constant MAINTENANCE NOISE. Not "Peaceful" at all. I was told it might snow here 3 or 4 times a year, buy snow here lasted @ bad months with an occasional golf cart plowing snow. I missed work 3 times because I could not get out of my driveway. The pipes froze in approx.19 apartments this winter due to barely any insulation in exterior walls. When I stood in certain places in the kitchen, I could see the hair on my legs blowing in the breeze, I could not stand on kitchen floor without shoes or slippers. I poked a fist sized hole in the 1/2 inch drywall when I knocked on the wall to let the neighbor know he needed to turn down his music. I discovered no insulation! When the neighbors phone rang, I could'nt tell if it was theirs or mine. I could hear the neighbor relieving himself loudly and doing who knows what to himsef! I wrote a letter directly to owners telling of my need for a NEW kitchen window way before winter hit. I recieved NO RESPONSE!!!! The managers who said they would "get on it right away", left their jobs very soon after. Probably knowing that nothing would be done about it, they left in embarrasment I'm sure. IF you sign the 500 page lease with its many rules and regulations you will be trapped!!!! If you default on your lease you will pay close to 2000.00 dollars in penalties. The outside always smells of urine because of the 5000 dogs that are here. People like to leave their dogs piles and not clean them up! MARK MY WORDS! Move into ROCK CREEK RIDGE and you will soon realize you made a big mistake!

I lived in Rock Creek Ridge for a year and it was not as bad as this reviewer is making it seem. Maybe they just had a bad experience. While I do agree that the apartments have very creaky floors I did not share in this person's other complaints. We never paid anywhere close to $200 for electricity and we lived there through two winters. I never once heard my neighbors and I had people living on both sides of me. No problems getting hot water either. As for the snow, the managers can not predict what the weather will be, it varies from year to year. I am from north bend and last year was an exceptionially snowy year, how is this Rock Creek Ridge's fault?? This reviewer sounds to me like they are looking for anything to complain about. I never noticed people not cleaning up after their dogs, nor did it smell like urine outside. I would say my overall experience at Rock Creek Ridge was good and I would consider living there again. The only thing we had problems with while living there was our dryer kept going out. Maintence came several times to fix it and finally they had to call a Dryer repair man to come replace some parts. If we ever had a problem maintence always came right away, we never had problems getting things fixed, even it was just the oven light that needed replacing. I did not get any hidden fees when we moved out and we even got some money back. They are very clear up front what the fees will be and if you actually read the lease it's all written there so you should not be surprised. Rock Creek Ridge is affordable and is the only apartment/townhomes you can rent that I know of in this area that actually have thier own garages.
