This is a very nice place to live. The staff is helpful and always courteous and friendly. The one bedroom apartments have a great floorplan and are spacious. Even better is the price, and a lot of people can't wait to come here after their previous apartments have become too expensive due to bad management decisions.
Other complexes waste a lot of money on pointless upgrades and amenities that the tenants do not even ask for or want, but still end up paying for as their rent keeps going up. The average person in Oly does NOT make a $20/month raise every year, but that is how the rent increases. (Ergo, the poor get poorer.)
I know a lot of people who want to move here just to get out of such situations, and I feel so lucky to live here!

Abalon Pointe also has a terrific layout. The apartments are like a little neighborhood; there are wide areas of grass all around and there is lots of room in the parking lot. They allow pets and even big dogs, and the place always looks clean and kept up. My apartment looked so nice and new when I moved in. I would rather not have the silly, expensive brass knobs on the cabinets (I start to worry when I see money wasted like that), but I love my apartment otherwise, especially all the closet space and the big living room. Also, all the buildings are separate and just two-story, so you're not cramped up in some high spot with lots of close neighbors.

The only complaints I would have would be the darkness of the parking lot (it's very dark toward the front at night) and the noise. This place is right on the boulevard, and there is no privacy hedge or forest or anything to block the view and noise from passing traffic.

Otherwise it's ideal and I wouldn't change or add anything! Abalon Pointe is a very special and unique place to live on the west side of Oly. They do a service to the community by keeping the standard of living up for the working class, instead of being just another overpriced, luxury-type place that only rich people can afford.
Abalon Pointe is just a nice, friendly place for regular people. The management has figured out what the other places are totally missing, that Low Price and a helpful staff are the *most important* things to tenants.

I would (and do!) recommend this place to everyone. Hopefully, other complexes will follow their example and try lowering the rent and using their resources more efficiently. I wish everyone could live in a nice complex like this.
