Mold and Spiders
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 3/14/2004
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
This spring when i moved, in these apartments seemed like great deal. The manager was super nice and energetic, the location and rent were good.
Then in summer, my apartment and my neighbors got infested with poisonous hobo spiders, and the manager refused to help. She called me a liar, and repeatedly refused to return my phone calls. It was horrible.
Come winter, and the spiders mostly died away, but black MOLD took over the apartment. The windows are old and dont seal well (or at all), so i have to have towels on the windowsills so when water forms on the glass panes it doesnt overflow the sill and run over onto the floor. My neighbors also have this problem, and have been told once they move out, they will be penalized for the damage that the unsealed windows have caused.
These apartments do seem a good price for a great location, but they?re definatly not worth the heartache of hairy spiders and icky mold.
